About Austin Cindric

Austin Cindric is an American NASCAR Cup Series driver competing for Team Penske in the No. 2 Ford. The son of longtime Penske executive Tim Cindric, he made his Cup Series debut in 2020 with Team Penske and joined the Cup field full-time in 2022 in the No. 2 previously driven by Brad Keselowski. Cindric won the Daytona 500 in his first full-time Cup start as a rookie in 2022 and went on to be named Cup Series Rookie of the Year. Before reaching Cup, he won the 2020 Xfinity Series championship with Team Penske.
