AJ Allmendinger

AJ Allmendinger is an American NASCAR Cup Series driver competing for Kaulig Racing in the No. 16 Chevrolet. He came to NASCAR from open-wheel racing, having competed in the Champ Car World Series before making his Cup Series debut in 2007 with Red Bull Racing. Allmendinger has driven for multiple Cup organizations across his career, including Richard Petty Motorsports, Penske, JTG Daugherty, and Kaulig. He is widely regarded as one of the strongest road-course racers in the series, with Cup wins at Watkins Glen and Charlotte's Roval among his career highlights.
