Bubba Wallace is an American NASCAR Cup Series driver competing for 23XI Racing in the No. 23 Toyota. He made his Cup Series debut in 2017 with Richard Petty Motorsports as a substitute driver and became RPM's full-time driver in 2018, finishing second in that year's Daytona 500 as a rookie. Wallace joined the new 23XI Racing team co-owned by Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan for the 2021 season. He has earned Cup victories at Talladega, Kansas, and the 2024 Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis, becoming the first Black driver to win the Brickyard. He is the first Black driver to compete full-time in the Cup Series since Wendell Scott in the 1970s.
