William Byron

William Byron is an American NASCAR Cup Series driver competing for Hendrick Motorsports in the No. 24 Chevrolet. He made his Cup Series debut in 2018 as a full-time rookie with Hendrick, taking over the iconic No. 24 previously driven by Jeff Gordon and Chase Elliott. Byron rose quickly through the lower NASCAR series after starting his racing career on iRacing, winning the 2017 NASCAR Xfinity Series championship in his first full season at that level.
